Well I had an outdoor wedding this past weekend. There was supposed to be no rain in the forecast...well as I was lining up the bridal party the skies opened up. Per the brides request we waited it out as she wanted an outdoor ceremony. So the guests took cover and we waited.
It turned out great the sun came out as they were pronounced husband and wife! This wedding was a great success and I had an awesome assistant...Sam!
I am anxiously awaiting the pictures from the photographer and will share when I get them....
I just today booked a wedding for Aug 7th for day of :) woo hoo :)

Google + going to weddings as a guest
I have to admit that getting phone calls from people you don't know and you ask how did you find me and their answer is I used google and searched wedding planners is pretty sweet. I got yet another phone call like this for an August wedding and they are looking for day of coordination. Well look no further! :) I am meeting with the Mother of the Bride next week Monday I will let you know how it goes. :)
I love wedding season. I have 2 weddings this weekend that I am simple attending. I am looking forward to it but now that I'm coordinating on a regular basis I think this could be different but a good different. I will let you know how it goes :)

Holland Wedding + Heart Attack
I had the pleasure of being the day of coordinator for my cousins wedding this past weekend...they are so in love and I was so excited to be apart of their special day!
Friday we got to the Holland Area Arts Council building at 10:30am to begin set up. With all hands on deck it went great! Rehearsal was early at 3pm because we had to be done by 4pm.
Rehearsal dinner was at the Double Tree Hotel in Holland my Uncle (Father of the groom) works for Jets pizza so it was a nice low key relaxed dinner and fun was had by all. The night proved to get a little crazy as at about mid night the father of the bride had a heart attack and was taken by ambulance to Holland Hospital. After filling out the hotel incident report and calming the groom down I laid in bed waiting for my phone to ring on an update of how he was. Not one person got much sleep that night.
7am I received an update that the father of the bride had to have stints put in over night and was in the hospital in GR and would not be attending the wedding. So the scramble was on to find a video camera as they hadn't planned on taping it! Thank goodness for my Aunt and Mom!! Just 1 phone call and it was a done deal!
9am the girls started hair and make up and at 10:15am I left for the venue to welcome the vendors in.
The day was perfect regardless of the circumstances of the night before. Pictures went great we started on time and the party was a huge party and a blast! EVERYONE danced everyone smiled it was awesome!
This will be a wedding to remember for sure! Congrats Pat and Ari thank you for allowing me to be a part of your very special day!

Wedding season is here..
Well it is safe to say that wedding season is upon us. No matter who you are I am sure you know of at least one wedding this summer or fall.
I myself feel as if I have a million weddings a month but I LOVE it!!!
Tuesday I got a phone call from a bride looking for day of coordination help and we met yesterday I am thrilled to be helping Jennifer and Todd with the July 9th wedding!
Tonight I get to meet with my cousin's fiance as I am helping with day of coordination for their wedding as well.
Things are going great and picking up and I am so excited to be in full swing! :)
If any bride signs a contract with me by June 1st they will get $50 off a package of $300 or more!! Spread the word!

back in the swing of things....
I had fallen off the wagon of blogging and I am going to get back into it. However it will be different than when I first started. I will update you on the latest trends etc but also on what I am doing and any giveaways etc that might be happening.
I had my 1st wedding of the season a couple of weeks ago and it went wonderful. It was a 2nd marriage for both bride and groom so it was not just a joining of 2 but a blending of families. It was a great ceremony and a very fun reception.
My next wedding is my cousins. I can honestly say I am soooo excited to be apart of his big day...we were never close until high school and now he is priceless to me!
